The Marmot Asgard Tents are classic mountaineering tents. Using a tried and tested 4 pole geodesic design, which can be double poled in extreme conditions, the Asgard is extremely stable. There is a further pole that creates a large porch for storing kit. The Fly Sheet fabric is PU coated and fully taped and the inside with a silicone outer that will not wet out making the tent heavier after rain. The ground sheet is PU coated to 10,0000mm hydrostatic head, for very rocky conditions or for extra durability a ground sheet protector can be added. The Asguard is not the lightest tent in the World but if you are looking for a Basecamp tent to withstand extreme weather conditions I think you will be very happy with a Marmot Asgard.
